Windshield

Motorcycle windshields are a highly valued accessory for motorcycle travel enthusiasts because they significantly increase wind protection and improve the motorcycle travel experience.

They are designed with Autocad software and optimized through a virtual wind tunnel to deflect air and improve the rider's aerodynamic protection, enhancing the drag coefficient (Cx).

They are manufactured from thermoplastic polymer (PMMA) and typically have a thickness of 2 to 4 mm with rounded edges to prevent injury to the user and comply with German TÜV regulations.

The most common colors are clear for touring models and smoked, dark smoked, black, red, and green for naked and sport models.

Motoplastic Puig has been manufacturing this accessory since the 1960s, with the Touring windshield for scooters being the most popular, coming with specific fittings for each motorcycle model. The New Generation range consists of screens specifically designed for each motorcycle model.

In addition to these, there is the standard model, which has the same design and shape as the original windshield for the motorcycle it is intended for. Then we have the Racer and Racing models for Sport, Supersport, and RR models.

Every windshield includes an aerodynamic test, instruction manual, and specific fittings for proper installation.
